Absolutely Perfect. Previous to this visit, my last stay in Bruges was spoilt by an awful hotel. By contrast, this was fantastic. Big rooms, comfortable beds, two minutes from the centre on foot. It made for a really great holiday. Hans was really helpful. definitely top of my list when we return to Bruges.

“Lovely hosts ensured we had a great time in Bruges”
Hans and An are warm and friendly hosts, and this is reflected in the charming character of their B&B.
Breakfast was delicious, served in a delightful dining room, and kept us going well beyond lunch time.
We stayed in the yellow room, which was spacious, pretty, clean, and very quiet. Huge bathroom too.
We found their recommendations of where to go - and where not to go - made our stay in Bruges a great pleasure. They also provided guide books in several languages on loan.

Excellent place to visit Brugge!”
Nov 7, 2010 | Trip type: Friends getaway
We stayed at Maison de la Rose’s loft meant for 5 persons: technically 2 double beds + one bed for a child. The place is big (115m²) and beautiful with its exposed beams. We really enjoyed spending our nights there as we could also rent DVDs from Hans’ huge collection!
Hans, the owner, was really great and very helpful during the whole stay, giving tips on restaurants, places to buy chocolates and rent bikes.
Breakfasts were good (local pastries, bread, ham, cheese and fresh orange juice) and big enough (for girls) to spend a day without having lunch (of course, some French fries or waffles at 4pm was good for us!).
I definitely recommend this place for families or friends visiting Brugge!

“Great Stay”
Me and my boyfriend spent 3 nights here over the Halowe’en Break. We both agreed the B & B was lovely, spacious, central (no more than 10 mins leisurly strole to the Markt) and very clean.
The owner was very friendly, greeting us and immediately giving us a guide book and making recommendations on where to go to eat for casual, more upmarket and seafood dining. He told us a nice place to go for Chocolate and also warned us of expensive hotspots to avoid on the Markt. We ate at his seafood recommendation and it was lovely.
The room was lovely and big, clean as a whistle, there were ample clean towels and a lovely large ensuite bathroom with a bath.
There was some noise from other guests at night time, but this was not something
the owner could do anything about.
The breakfast was continental served up to 10am. Hot coffee, fresh bread and juice. Cold meat, cheese, a boiled egg and some tasty pastries. All to my taste.
On our final day the owner said we could stay as long as we wanted as the room was free that night, a luxury I’ve never got in a B and B before. No rushing to get out at 11am.
